Q: How can I help? How are my physical & financial donations used? A: There are various ways you can help our Community Outreaches
1) Community Outreach
Clothes & Shoes- We appreciate all donations of gently used & new clothes and shoes that are given to those in need. It is amazing how a pair of shoes or a few articles of clothing can make a difference in someone's life. Reaching out to others in God's love brings such hope to those who are in desperate situations.
Health & Hygiene- Our ministry also helps those who need basic health & hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, body & hand soap, shampoo, diapers, wipes, formula, children's vitamins, anti-parasite medication for children. We help many children & adults who need medicines, medical & dental attention, but cannot afford to receive proper care.
Food- There are many people, especially children, who go without eating adequately on a daily basis. Your donations provides basic food items such as rice, beans, flour, eggs, & spaghetti to those who cannot afford to buy them. When we can, our ministry provides dairy products, meats, chicken, fruits, and vegetables. No one ever should go hungry.
School Supplies & Uniforms- Loving Honduran Kids provides needy children with the school supplies as well as required uniforms and shoes. School supplies such as notebooks, pencils, pens, glue, crayons, colored pencils, markers, pencil sharpeners, construction paper, copy paper, rulers, & school bags are among the most needed materials for the students.
